21:55 UTC – E-xact has informed commercebuild that our IP has been unblocked. If your web store uses this payment method, transactions should now be able to resume. We will continue to monitor and update this post as more information becomes available.
20:56 UTC – We have enabled reCAPTCHA on the B2C checkout pages for all web stores using E-xact. We have informed E-xact and are waiting for them to review the block against requests originating from our servers. If you would like to inform your customers that there are issues processing payments on your web store, you may do so with this tutorial. If you require assistance, please reach out to support@commercebuild.com.
20:29 UTC – We are aware that this issue is affecting other web stores using different payment methods, not just E-xact. We continue to enable reCAPTCHA on E-xact stores. Afterward, we will enable reCAPTCHA on other sites. To enable reCAPTCHA, go to System > Features > B2C (Public) and toggle “ON” Enable Captcha at Checkout.
20:14 UTC – To mitigate further issues, E-xact has temporarily blocked payments from our servers. We are working to enable reCAPTCHA on all sites using the E-xact payment method. As soon as this is complete, we will update this post with more information.
19:21 UTC – We are aware of fraudulent transaction attempts affecting web stores using E-xact to process payments. We are working with E-xact to correct the issue. If you have any questions or concerns in the meantime, please reach out to support@commercebuild.com.
