13:40 UTC @ July 25, 2022 – This incident is related to the incident that occurred on June 8. As was noted in that post, the number of nodes was increased to resolve the issue. For this incident, we further increased the nodes by 50 percent in our North America production environment, thus reducing the disk I/O load on all Elasticsearch nodes. As was also noted in our June 8 incident post, this issue should be resolved in a more scalable fashion once we complete our upgrade to high performance SSD disk. We anticipate this update occurring soon; it is already in our staging environment.
16:17 UTC – We believe the issues have stabilized. Our systems team is still looking into the cause of this incident. When more information is available, we will update this post.
15:32 UTC– We are aware of issues with the platform and are investigating them. These issues may affect the availability of pages, such as product pages, as well as the ability to utilize the search functionality. As soon as we have more information, we will update this post.
